Walter says it is much harder to write a short story than a novel…. “A novel is a whole mountain that you can see, and a short story is like an island in the ocean and you just know that there’s a mountain underneath that island.”
Walter just loves to write. Still, he says “I can only write for three hours a day. If I write longer than that, the next day I throw away everything I wrote after the three hour mark.”
