Francesca Serretella – Full Bloom

Wow! I wasn’t sure this book was for me, or one I would like, but what a wonderful surprise! This is a writer to watch, and I intend on reading every book she writes.

This book is so intelligently written, so human, and so real! Iris becomes so real in this book, I feel like I know her—or I should. The story is solid, the characters are very well drawn out, with shocks galore! I’m hoping she writes a mystery next.

The work involved shows—the hours of research to get it all right! And it’s so different from her first book, Ghosts of Harvard. I cannot wait to see what’s next. I really can’t.

This book is so compelling. You will get to the point where you can’t put it down. I sure did. I was terrified at one point—scared for Iris. I suddenly feel so much compassion for women and what they go through.

Do yourself a favor and don’t miss this book. Sure glad I didn’t. Enjoy!
