DBT 0249: Loretta Switt – SwitHeart: The Watercolour Artistry & Animal Activism of Loretta Swit

January 10, 2017

Loretta Swit, of course, is best known as “Hot Lips” on MASH, a role that became a classic for 11 seasons on the show. But who knew what a multi-talented person she was? That she could paint so well, do needlepoint, be an accomplished actress on broadway, and just do so much for animals everywhere! She is a true American hero, and you will never forget her once you hear this hour long interview. The only thing she doesn’t talk about is needlepoint, but she is a true artist in every sense of the word! what an unusual woman she is, and no nonsense. She just simply loves to love. What a treat to hear that familiar voice after all these years. and she is still going strong! How does she do it? Let her tell you in her own words, and she is the best friend of ALAN ALDA..how many of us can say that? Enjoy this wonderful talk with a woman who has so much passion for animals. This is an important subject, and she is an expert after so many years. And the proceeds go to charity, at least a portion of them. What a true SWITHEART, I mean sweetheart she is.
Proceeds from sales of this book, which includes over 60 full-color paintings and drawings, will be donated to charities and programs that are dedicated to fighting animal suffering and cruelty.
