Louise Penny – The Grey Wolf
There is so much to be said about this book. Number 19 in the series, this book is like none of the other 18. Don’t miss this one. Somehow, it is very fitting for a Halloween book. The things it scares up are more horrifying than you can imagine.
My only problem with the book is all the characters—I was losing track at some point. But thankfully, the story is sound. Gamache, the hero of the series, has been through hell for so long. And continues to be. Please let up on him, will you?
It’s so great to have Louise Penny back on track. And what’s that surprise at the end? Wow, it really got to me. Don’t peek until you get there, please! This one haunts you deeply. I can’t stop thinking about it. And book 20—I can’t wait!
