Moonflower Murders
September 15th on PBS, at 9:00 pm Eastern
When I first watched the first episode of this show, it seemed like the same old kind of mystery show. Boy, was I wrong about that!
This is almost six hours worth of pure enjoyment. It all started with *Magpie Murders*, which aired previously on *Masterpiece Mystery*. And now, the same characters are back! Susan Ryeland, Pünd, and Susan’s sister and her current beau, Andreas. I raced through these six episodes, only to be stunned by the ending! Wow, the fact that you can now enjoy it just like I did is amazing!
Don’t miss this show, please. Even though it will take six weeks to see it all, it is well worth the wait.
How did I not see all that was coming? I guess I was just enjoying it so much. Listening to the characters complain and deal with everything, I wish I could rewatch it all. And the good news is, I think it is even more enjoyable than the first one, *The Magpie Murders*. Anthony Horowitz, the writer of these two wonderful tales, has become one of my favorite mystery writers of all time. And even better news: number three in the series, *The Marble Hall Murders*, is coming out in book form in the spring of 2025. Unbelievable. Who knew we had so much to look forward to? Will that third one get filmed? I’m crossing my fingers even now that they will do exactly that. To say any more about *Moonflower Murders* would spoil the fun.
PLEASE, whatever you do, don’t miss this one. Enjoy it for all it’s worth, and that is beyond measure.
