DBT0283: Tom Batiuk – Lisa’s Legacy Trilogy

One of the most accomplished cartoonists out there, Tom Batiuk will tell you all about his amazing 45 year career, and he is not done yet!

He has drawn the Funky Winkerbean strip which is still in a lot of major newspapers. I am sure you have heard the name, and he will tell you all about his other things also. He is a very humble man who simply enjoys working at home in his studio on his strip.

And he has tackled a very serious subject, Lisa had cancer, and he will tell you all about his efforts to help with that, and you can contribute also.

Just a really cool laid back and happy man, doing what he loves for 45 years. Amazing. How many of us can say that? So many times we get stuck in a job we hate, or just do to pay the bills. I am in awe of this man. And he draws, illustrates and writes the whole strip.

How does he keep up with a 7 day a week job? Let him tell you.
