Part of a series of travel mysteries, this book is by an author who used to work on the MONK series with tony shaloub. Very prestigious background for this novel writer, who still is writing mysteries. This is the 3rd in the series, and hopefully there will be more. AMY is the main detective, always seems to be involved with a mystery, which makes it more fun. But her mother FANNY is the one to watch for. She is a snoop to say the least. I enjoyed this book, and would love to read more of their adventures.HY CONRAD, by the way, was a writer on the MONK show..i am honored to talk to him.. i saw every episode of monk. hey, maybe he will bring him back…..that would be great….
